Many people look for a wooden dog crate because wire looks out of place in a living room. We build from furniture boards with a wood finish, like good kitchens and wardrobes. The surface is sealed and wipes clean, nothing needs oiling, and nothing warps when the heating is on.

Solid wood moves: it swells in damp air and shrinks in dry heating air. For a den a dog uses every day and that you wipe down, a stable board is the better choice. Every edge the dog can reach is banded and rounded.

Finishes: Oak, walnut, ash, smoked oak and over 350 other wood, colour and stone finishes.
Den: Sized from your dog's shoulder height and length, with air at the back.
Door: Open, or a slatted or sliding door for crate training.
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth. No oil, no wax, no splinters.

Questions

Is it solid wood?

No. We build from furniture boards with a wood finish and Blum hardware, like quality kitchens. They stay flat, resist scratches and wipe clean. Solid wood swells, shrinks and needs care, so we do not use it for dog furniture.

Which wood finishes can I choose?

Light and dark oak, walnut, ash, smoked oak and many more. We post you samples so you can see the finish next to your own furniture.

Can it have a door?

Yes. A slatted or sliding door with ventilation for dogs that are crate trained. For everyone else the den stays open.
