Notes on the drawing
Credenza is a long, low sideboard for the living room or hallway. Behind a fluted sliding door is the den. On the other side are drawers for leads, food and toys, and a pull-out feeding drawer at floor level. The whole dog lives in one piece of furniture.
- Sliding fluted door
- The reeded front lets air and light through and hides the cushion. It slides into the carcass, so it never swings into the room.
- Feeding drawer
- Two stainless steel bowls set into a wipe-clean tray, at a height matched to your dog. Push it shut and the floor is clear.
- Storage for the dog
- Drawers sized for a lead, a harness, treats and a 5 kg bag of food. A lined compartment keeps the smell in.
- Two dogs, one piece
- The den can be split into two compartments with a removable divider, or built as two separate dens.
- Cable pass-through
- A routed channel at the back for a TV or speaker on top, away from the den side.
