A single litter box cabinet often still looks like a litter box. A sideboard does not. The box sits behind a door at one end, with cupboards and drawers beside it for litter, food and everything else.
We size the compartment from your cat and your box. The cat door goes in the side or the front, the compartment is ventilated, and the box comes out through a front door.
- Compartment
- 10 cm larger than your box in each direction, with a washable lining.
- Cat door
- In the side or front, round, 20 cm, or 24 cm for large breeds.
- Storage
- Cupboards and Blum drawers next to the box.
- Width
- To fit your wall, from a short sideboard to a long credenza.
Designs to start from
Open one in the builder, size it for your cat and change every finish. Then send it to us as your drawing.
Sizes we would start from
| Breed | Body length | Litter box up to | Compartment inside, L x W x H | Cat door |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Domestic cat | 40-50 cm | 75 x 55 cm | 85 x 65 x 55 cm | 20 cm |
| British Shorthair | 45-55 cm | 75 x 55 cm | 85 x 65 x 55 cm | 20 cm |
| Ragdoll | 45-55 cm | 75 x 55 cm | 85 x 65 x 55 cm | 24 cm |
| Bengal | 40-55 cm | 75 x 55 cm | 85 x 65 x 55 cm | 20 cm |
| Maine Coon | 50-70 cm | 75 x 55 cm | 85 x 65 x 65 cm | 24 cm |
Our rule: the litter box is about 1.5 times the length of the cat, up to 75 cm, about the largest box sold. The compartment adds 10 cm to each dimension. Sizes for the larger cat of each breed. We check the numbers against your own cat.
