What a Birman needs
Birmans are calm, affectionate cats that like company more than adventure. A cave next to the sofa or a nightstand by the bed suits them well. Their silky coat has no thick undercoat and mats less than many long hairs. It still collects litter, so a step inside the litter cabinet helps. Moderate climbers, they do well with a few low shelves.
